LOCAL RULES
1. OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 18)
a) A ball is out of bounds if it lies beyond any boundary hedges, fences or roads.
b) A ball is out of bounds if it lies in the gravel area, flower beds and car park
that surround the Clubhouse at holes 7 and 18.
c) A ball is out of bounds if it lies on or over the inside edge of the kerbing
surrounding the Clubhouse and car park.
d) A ball is out of bounds if it lies on or over the road behind the 7th green.
e) A ball is out of bounds if it lies to the right of the white stakes, over the
ditch, on the right of the 15th hole (see map on tee).
f) Playing the 7th hole.
Any ball finishing on or over the road on the green side of the pond/stream is
Out of Bounds. This starts from the bridge in front of the 1st tee up to the
green keepers yard. A ball is Out of Bounds if it finishes over the kerbs of the
clubhouse & car park. Any ball finishing over the road to the left of the 18th
green is also OOB.

2. GROUND UNDER REPAIR (Rule 16.1)
A ball embedded through the green may be lifted, cleaned and dropped.
Newly turfed areas.
All temporary (winter) greens should be treated as ‘GUR’. A ball on a green other than the green being played MUST be lifted and dropped off the green, not nearer the hole being played. WITHOUT PENALTY.

3. IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 16)
All roads and paths.
All staked trees.
Sprinkler heads and irrigation fittings.

4. ROBOT MOWERS:
Robotic mowers & their charging stations on the course are treated as an immovable obstruction (Rule 16.1).
Local rule:-
If a ball at rest is moved, it must be replaced in its original position.
If your ball strikes a moving robot, you may, without penalty, play the shot again.

5. PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULE:

Stroke Play – Two shots.
Match Play – Loss of hole.
Serious breach – Disqualification.
The committee’s decision is final (Rule 20).
